“I exist! The shadow is my refuge, / my blood mixed / only in the dark I understand that I exist”. Backed by the recognition of DanceHauspiù as a National Production Center, Susanna Beltrami set up a new co-production project together with MilanOltre and Next 18-19, freely inspired by The Night Just Before the Forests by B. M. Koltès. An all-male performing group of uncommon intensity for a new work, which crosses the text of Koltès, creating a vocal score in harmony with the original music, written and performed live by the great pianist Cesare Picco.

Cesare Picco e Alessio Bertallot si incontrano sul palco per la prima volta, dopo le sperimentazioni musicali effettuate in questi anni in speciali trasmissioni di Radio Deejay, Radio 2 Rai e Casa Bertallot.
Il suono acustico del pianoforte incontra il beat e le suggestioni elettroniche ideate appositamente per questo evento. I mondi di questi due speciali esploratori del suono si fondono dando vita a un viaggio raffinato e poetico: un continuo caleidoscopio di musiche originali e di incursioni in brani che hanno segnato la recente storia della musica.
